Jawa and Security Droid

Accessories
The Jawa and security droid are packaged with a blaster and a build-a-droid piece.

Look and Feel
The Jawa figure is a nice mix of old and new. It was great to see soft goods added to a Jawa it because it really made me think of my vintage version. He looks right at home with the rest of my Jawas. The addition of the holster really completes the work and the blaster fits into it perfectly!

The security droid finally rounds out the droid line up outside the sandcrawler when Luke and Uncle Owen go to purchase R2-D2 and C-3PO. From what I can see of this droid during the movie, it seems that Hasbro did a nice job with their representation.

Articulation
The Jawa has ball-hinged joints are found in the neck, shoulders and elbows. There are also swivel joints in the wrists, waist, and hips. Sadly there is no articulation in the legs, but this may be due to a size issue. For a change I was not put off by this lack of articulation as the Jawas pretty much just stand around any way.

The security droid has some articulation for such a simple figure. It has a swivel dome and moving wheels.

Overall Reaction
This is an absolute must have in my opinion. I have purchased two so far and may end up buying one or two more. Recently I have had a Jawa addiction as I was give the Sandcrawler for Christmas and feel the need to surround it with Jawas. Unlike the previous Jawa that we received with the Treadwell droid, this version isn't very good for customization.
