Luke Skywalker - Death Star II

Accessories
Luke Skywalker is packaged with his lightsaber, binders, swappable chest plate, and a build-a-droid piece.

Look and Feel
For the first time in my opinion, Hasbro has nailed down the sculpt of Lukes head. The figure is very cool looking and I love the fact that you can have him with the flat up or down and the chest plate doesn't scream that it is interchangeable. When I first saw this figure on the web (and discussed how he looked with Redleader) we were concerned about how bulky his shoulders look. After getting the figure I was pleased to see that his shoulders weren't a problem, but I was not to happy with the way his knees and elbows look. The knees you can write off to his pants bunching up at the top of his boots, but the same can't be said for his elbows.

Articulation
Skywalker features ball-hinged neck, shoulders, elbows, ankles and knees. In addition he has swivel wrists, waist, and hips. Articulation had to be left out of the torso due to the swappable chest plate.

Overall Reaction
This is without a doubt the best Jedi Luke figure Hasbro has ever but out. He as very good articulation and the extras he comes with are very nice and allow you to pose him in just about any pose from Return of the Jedi. The only drawback to the figure is the bulky looking ball-hinged joints in the elbows and knees which can be over looked as we are getting a very poseable figure. I am very interested to see how this figure stacks up with the one coming out in the Battle of Endor battle pack.
