Accessories
Anakin comes with activated lightsaber and deactivated hilt (further evidence that Hasbro is moving away from the removable blade). He is also packed with a droid piece for the build-a-droid HK-47.

Look and Feel
I have nothing to compare this figure to except for some drawings so I guess he looks accurate. I love his molded cape especially with all the difficulty I have had with displaying soft good Jedi robes. I really like the look of his boots and wish I could easily use them in a custom for other figures. The sculpt of the head is a good likeness of Anakin Skywalker.

Articulation
Anakin has all the same articulation that Captain Typho has giving me the thought that Hasbro is moving away from ball-hinged torso and will only rarely will ball hinge a figure's hips. He does have ball-hinged joints everywhere except the hips, waist, and wrists.

Overall Reaction
I have no idea where this figure came from and why he needed to be made. Perhaps this is another way to give the kiddies out there another Anakin to play with. Most collectors I know are staying away from him, but I will be getting two because I have the cape ear marked for an awesome custom of Jacen Solo that will be posted in the custom section. For you collectors out there I would say he is an easy skip if you not into customizing for the fact that he isn't a movie character nor is he a McQuarrie, but could fit into the collection for displaying.
