The Legacy Collection
Wave 6
Bulid-a-Droid #42
Hoth Rebel Soldier - Bearded Version

Accessories
Unlike Princess Leia in this wave, the Hoth Rebel Soldier comes complete with plenty of extras. First off he has not only a blaster pistol, but also a heavy blaster with tripod. This soldier also comes complete with removable hat and goggles and a removable backpack. Also packed with this figure is a droid part to the build-a-droid U-3PO.

Look and Feel
This is the figure I have been looking most forward to from this wave. How can you go wrong with an updated Hoth Rebel Soldier? Not to mention the fact that we no longer have to hear Redleader76 complain on the forums. My version of this figure is the one with the skirt as I couldn't find the early release version of this figure. This trooper looks like a very movie accurate version, however I am sure someone will find a fault with it here or there. The only thing that bothers me is the wide stance that was given to this figure. I do understand the reasoning though. In the film this trooper sat on the ground with the gun in front of him. Had Hasbro made this trooper's stance more narrow, the movie accurate pose would be impossible.

Articulation
Articulation is good on this figure. The Hoth Rebel Soldier does have the standard points of articulation such as ball-hinged head, shoulders, elbows, knees, and ankles. He was also given swivel forearms, waist, and hips. It would have been cool to get a ball-hinged waist, but I am sure we will get one in about two years.

Overall Reaction
This is a great figure and a must buy in my opinion. He definitely lived up to the hype and I can't wait to see the next variation on him. Go out and get this figure!
