The Legacy Collection
Wave 6
Bulid-a-Droid #40
Captain Needa

Accessories
Captain Needa is packed with his imperial blaster.  I truly thought that was all he was packed with until while posing him I accidently knocked off his hat.  In fact this is one of the best fitting hats Hasbro has ever made.  I can actually turn him upside down without falling off.  I also found that can take off his rank insignia which I don’t recommend as it just leaves a hole in his chest and there is a chance you could destroy it in the process. Captain Needa is also packed with a droid part to the build-a-droid U-3PO.

Look and Feel
When information and photos were released about Captain Needa I was all in!  I am a big Imperial collector and how can you not have the figure after hearing the line, “Apology accepted Captain Needa.”  If only Vader had a voice chip for that!  Overall it is a very good likeness of Needa, but I am not of big fan of his wide stance.  Personally I like my officers to be able to stand at attention.

Articulation
I am very pleased with the articulation in this figure.  Needa has it almost everywhere you would want it.  He has ball-hinged joints in the neck, shoulder, elbows, knees, and ankles.  The only areas he doesn’t have ball-hinged joints are the wrists and the hips.  These areas have swivel joints.

Overall Reaction
I was excited to get Captain Needa when I saw him online and I am happy to have him as part of my collection now.  He is great for dioramas, especially if you’re doing the imperial shuttle landing on the Death Star.  Needa would look right at hope amidst the rest of the officers.  I plan to put him with the rest of my officers in the Imperial Briefing Room.  It would be great to get a Star Destroyer bridge play set, but those days are long past.
