The Legacy Collection
Wave 7
Bulid-a-Droid #49
Tarados Gon
Accessories
Tarados Gon comes with his lightsaber (yet again with no removable blade). He is also packed with a droid part to the build-a-droid HK-47.
Look and Feel
From the small shots you get of Gon in Attack of the Clones he looks accurate. He has nice details on his belt and has a well sculpted head. His skirt (for lack of a better word) is just about the only issue I have. My figure's material has a glossy shine on it and really doesn't look like something a Jedi would where unless going clubbing and is a chick. I would have much rather Hasbro use the material from the Obi-Wan figure in this wave or even the material on the Beru. All and all Hasbro did a good job on a background Jedi.
Articulation
Like all the other figures that are seen in action in this wave Gon has ball-hinged articulation in the neck, shoulders, elbows, knees, and ankles and has swivel wrists, hips, and waist. As always I would like better torso articulation for posing but I am satisfied with this figure.
Overall Reaction
For a slightly boring character Gon is a nice figure. For me he screams to be customized. He has a very basic body that could be used for any male Jedi. A simple head swap would yield several background Jedi. When you take his head off be sure to plunk it on a skiff guard for additional Jabba henchmen! With all these thoughts of customizing perhaps I should look into a couple other figures!
