ok steve and john suck! Just kidding, but they have slowly started me collecting vintage.

Questions:

I ordered a couple of c9 figures. How different is c7 or c8. Does the difference matter?

Anyone have the following for sale in good quality?

Snowtrooper
2-1b
Silver Death Star droid?

I can not believe I do not have those 3 figures that I love

I will have to check. I believe I have a second Silver Death Star Droid, but not in great condition as I bought a new one with better joints and paint. It might serve you well until you get a better version. I am pretty sure I don't have an extra 2-1B. I think I just bought his weapon to upgrade my figure, but will take a look. I also might have a Snowtrooper minus the skirt. Not sure if I still have that one as I might have sold it to Redleader, but I will take a look tonight.

Heh heh heh heh.......Welcome to this side of AWESOME!

How can you not have this bug?!?!?!?

I can look and see what I have...if I do not have em I will most likely get some soon enough (talking with a friend about some of his old stuff).

I am on the last part of Vintage Kenner Micro Collection- just a Snow Speeder and the Falcon to go!

All Kenner action figures we already in the bag last year- now I am troop-building, yep the sickeness does not end! I am bringing up the numbers to the same as my modern collection.

Also I have 6 vintage customs either complete or almost complete.

I just love this stuff!

I say it varies- If the figure looks good and has it's equipment that's just fine for me- I expect at this age the figures will be a bit play worn- Some of the favorites in my collection are the ones that are scuffed up a bit- those are the ones I played with and mean more to me than a mint figure (but those are cool too).

It's all about what matters most to you- and how much you want to spend.

Happy hunting man- this is what the hobby is about!

I took a quick look at Scum's Vintage Classifieds. You can grab a figure here and there for cheap. Might be worth a look. Be sure to haggle! I usually can get shipping thrown in.

Sorry Mike, the only extras I could find tonight were Greedo in sad shape and a Hoth Han.

Did anyone here ever buy a "graded" action figure? I just got in my Vintage Kenner ROTLA Monkey Man. He was graded and comes sealed in a bullet proof clear plastic case- that sucker has some weight to it!

Once I display it though I am gonna crack it open- I dislike sealed action figures in packaging or other wise.

I haven't bought graded figures as they are more expensive. They usually charge about $20 to grade them. Red Leader you open sealed vintage figures? I can see it if the card and bubble are absolutely terrible, but not if they are in good condition. I currently have carded on ROTJ cards, 4-LOM (named Zuckuss on the package), Ackbar, Rancor Keeper, and Prune Face. My brother has an absolutely ridiculous carded Empire collection. The are all in fantastic condition. He has Leia (Bespin), Bossk, IG-88, FX-7, Snowtrooper, Yoda, Rebel Commander, AT-AT Driver, 2-1B, Lobot, AT-AT Driver, TIE Fighter Pilot, and I just bought him off the Bay Bespin Security Guard (African-American).

No I guess I would not (if in minty mint condition)- selling them would make more sense but I guess I'd eventually buy a banged up vintage carded figure and just open it- that would be the closest ever to reliving your childhood.

One day I will do it just for kix!
